The Lincoln boys basketball team dominated the competition last week winning both match ups by over 20 points. Lincoln defeated Lakeside at home Tuesday, January 26 and defeated Natoma on the road Friday, January 29. The Leopard defense swarmed the Knights not allowing Lakeside to score more than double digits in any quarter en route to a 57-29 Leopard victory. Lincoln led 16-7 after one quarter of play and extended the lead to 35-14 at halftime. The Leopards won the second half 22-15 coasting to the win.

The Lincoln Lady Leopards split their games last week losing at home to Lakeside Tuesday, January 26 and winning at Natoma Friday, January 29. The Lady Leopards fell behind early against Lakeside and could never get the offense going in a 52-32 loss. Lakeside raced out to a 15-2 first quarter lead. Both teams scored six points in the second quarter for a 21-8 Lakeside lead. Lincoln was held to single digits again in the third quarter and faced a 34-13 deficit heading into the fourth quarter. The Lady Leopards couldn’t close the gap in the final quarter outscoring the Lady Knights 19-18.
