Lebien celebrates 90th birthday
Bina Lebien was born in the stone house at 710 S. 5th Street in Lincoln on January 18, 1930.
She has been a Lincoln resident her entire life except for three years when her husband, Lawrence “Pickle”, was in the military. In 1951-54, they lived in Biloxi, Miss. and Merced, Calif. After the Korean war, they moved back to Lincoln.
She worked as a switchboard operator for Bell Telephone and in the Medical Records Department at the Lincoln County Hospital for many years.
Bina’s children, Doug Lebien, Lincoln and Shelia Rathbun, Newton, hope her friends will celebrate with her by sending cards.
Cards can reach Bina at 119 E. High, Lincoln, KS 67455.
