The community is making the best of social distancing. Here are a few examples submitted to the Lincoln Sentinel. 1-Shawn Bell, son of Jyll Phillips, Lincoln, wears his PPE while on deployment in Singapore. 2-Jack Metz takes a break from Solitaire. 3-Hazel Metz takes in some sunshine and gets a little exercise too. 4-Ashlyn Voeltz, Olivia Moler and Aleece Moler, daughters of Heather and Brad Steen, enjoy board games. 5-Coy Rathbun, Barnard, enjoyed a card shower for his 8th birthday. 6-Kerry Isbell, Lincoln, enjoyed a virtual Easter celebration with her family in Iowa. 7-Landon O’Hare, Lincoln, shows off his big catch while fishing with his brother. 8-Sarah Hageman, Lincoln, makes face masks. 9-Sloan McReynolds-Baetz made and sent-Friendship bracelets her friends. Hometown Helpers perform at 4-H day

Hometown Helpers perform at 4-H day

The monthly meeting for the Hometown Helpers was held in the towne hall in Sylvan Grove on February 1, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. The roll call was “what is the most annoying pet at home.” 22 members, two leaders, eight parents and six guests answered the roll call. The Dohl family did a presentation on their pigs. Before our meeting we pracitced our skit for 4-H day.
