Chamber banquet is February 17

A federal medical official who heads the nation’s Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority will be the featured speaker during the 2018 Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting and banquet Feb. 17 at Lincoln Junior-Senior High School.

Rick A. Bright serves as the deputy assistant secretary for preparedness and response and the director of BARDA, which is a section of the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response for the United States Department of Health and Human Services.
