Citizen’s State Bank donates to USD 298

Galen Liggett and Jim Metz, representing the Lincoln branch of Citizens State Bank & Trust Company, addressed the USD 298 board of education at their July 6 meeting to offer a $4,000 donation. While acknowledging the district can use the funds to meet their needs, the bank has requested it be used for academics, i.e. curriculum, textbooks, etc. The board gratefully accepted their donation and earmarked it for much needed textbooks.

Information items FEMA Shelter

The board convened the meeting at Lincoln Junior/Senior High School where Corey Schultz, Schultz Squared Architects, LLC, provided a tour of the school’s newly constructed FEMA shelter. The meeting reconvened 30 minutes later at the district office, with Schultz on hand to answer any questions and offer recommendations.
