City’s service window approved

One bid for the service window project within budget was received. The bid included two options for a payment drop box, one being a stand-alone outside box, and one installed in the side window panel of the front door. Following a counsel discussion about both options and costs involved, the counsel voted to accept the construction bid from Hall Construction to install the transaction window and side window drop box. The cost will be $11,000 which includes a $2,000 allowance. Due to the placement of the transaction window, the office furniture also needs to be reconfigured.. The counsel voted to accept the proposal of $4,562.05 from Pure Workspace Solutions for the desk remodel. Pure Workspace Solutions configured the current counter desk design.

Options were also presented for camera and door access. Following discussion the matter was tabled until the December meeting so that Dave Tangeman with File Safe could be present to answer the counsel’s questions.
