Lincoln County Hospital monitors COVID-19
Lincoln County Hospital (LCH) Interim CEO Jeanne Goche has notified the Sentinel that LCH is closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic situation in an effort to protect the elderly and other vulnerable populations in the area.
There are increasing cases of COVID-19 being identified in Kansas, including one confirmed case in Mitchell County. LCH is working closely with state and local agencies to ensure preparedness.
“In order to protect our patients and staff, we are now encouraging patients to call us first,” said Dr. Arshad Cheema, LCH Chief Medical Officer (CMO). “Patients may reach us by telephone, as well as Skype or Face Time. We are here to help everyone and keep our community as safe as possible.”
