Lincoln County Hospital partnering with LifeSave Transport for fast rural emergency care
Having access to quality healthcare can often be a challenge in rural areas as residents come up against many barriers to getting the care that they need, especially in an emergency. One of those barriers is transportation.
Those in rural communities are much more likely to be a greater distance from a larger hospital when the need for a transfer arises, and that is why Lincoln County Hospital is pleased to announce its Kansas Clinical Improvement Collaborative (KCIC) partnership with LifeSave Transport, a ground and critical care air transport company.
As part of KCIC, LifeSave will provide Lincoln County Hospital and other participating hospitals with 24/7 immediate access to emergency medical transportation, along with access to LifeSave’s groundbreaking proprietary transport tool, LifeSave Mission Control™. This innovative online software developed by LifeSave allows hospitals to match the severity of a patient’s condition with the type of transport needed.
