Lincoln holds vaccine clinic

The Lincoln County Health Department has been holding vaccine clinics at the Finch Theatre in Lincoln. The Finch will be the vaccine site during February and March. Between Feb. 1 — Feb. 5, 140 doses were given to county residents.

Vaccines are administered by appointment only. Those who wish to receive a vaccine can call the health department in Lincoln or go to lincolncountyhospital. net and complete the form. Public health officer Ladonna Reinert reminds residents if they have completed a form at the hospital website, or if they have called, there is no need to call again.

“We have a running list of hundreds of people wanting the vaccine so with only getting 100 doses a week right now, it will take several weeks to get to everyone,” Reinert said. “We are going by the date called in or the date the online form was filled out. We are primarily doing 65+ at this time with a few essential business people worked in.”
