Wallace book a new series on Netflix

A book co-authored by Lincoln County’s own Robert (Bob) Wallace of Barnard, is the basis for a new eight-episode series on Netflix titled Spycraft. Wallace and Keith Melton, co-author of the book by the same name, are co-executive producers of the series that is loosely based on their book. The series first aired Wed., Jan. 20.

County officials elected in the November, 2020 election were sworn into office Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, with Judge Brian Grace presiding. Above left: Dennis Ray, Board of County Commissioners, District 2; Darrell Oetting, Board of County Commissioners, District 3 and Dustin Florence, newly elected Sheriff, took their oath of office first, followed by returning re-elected officials. Above right: Leann Bishop, Lincoln County Treasurer, Dawn Harlow, Lincoln County Clerk, Tami Kerth, Lincoln County Register of Deeds and Jennifer O'Hare, Lincoln County Attorney, take their oath of office. The Sheriff's deputies were also sworn in to preserve and protect the people of Lincoln County. This group included the county's new Undersheriff, Luke Sanders. Following the ceremony the Sheriff, Undersheriff and deputies joined together to ''toast" out-going Sheriff Mike Weigel with refreshments and well-wishes. (Photos by Jy/1 Phillips)
