Donna J. Bollinger

Donna Jean Bollinger, 81, of Leonardville, Kan., passed away December 19, 2018, in Leonardville. She was born June 13, 1937, in Clay Center, Kan., to Lawrence and Geraldine (Woodard) Lee.

Donna was raised in Clay Center and graduated from CCCHS in 1955. She married Jerry Hayworth in 1956, and later divorced in 1982. She worked as a bookkeeper for Hayworth Station and taught English as a second language at the KSU Adult Learning Center. She also worked for Head Start from 94-96. She married Bill Bollinger in 1984 and he preceded her in death in 2000. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge and was past president of the Ladies Auxiliary. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Gerry Jean Jensen, a sister and a brother.

Survivors include daughter Kelly (Mike) Holte, Clay Center; sons Rick Hayworth, Mayfield, Ky.; Randy Hayworth, Joshua, Texas; Rodney Hayworth, Junction City, Kan.; Roger (Kae) Hayworth, Lincoln, Kan.; brother Delbert Lee, Clay Center; sister Karen Reed, North Richland Hills, Texas, and 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be Thursday, December 27, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clay Center. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center. There will be a visitation Wednesday, December 26, 2018, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home.
