Sharron Hamilton

Sharron Hamilton was born Dec. 19, 1933, at Ellsworth Hospital, but she soon headed for Lincoln, Kan., where she would spend most of her 89 years. Sharron, born into the Great Depression, was the first child of Thomas and Haddie (Brockett) King. Her father supplemented the family larder by fishing – catfish, mostly – from the Saline River, which led to Sharron’s lifetime aversion to seafood of all kinds.

Kevin Lee Bolte, 63, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023 at his home in Lindsborg, KS. He was born June 30, 1959 in Lincoln, KS to Roland W. and G. Bernice (Ricker) Bolte. Kevin was a master electrician who worked for B&W Electric for 26 years. For the past 17 years he founded and operated Bolte Electric. He married Terry (Dinkie) Wishcop in South Lake Tahoe, CA on September 18, 2004. Kevin was a gun enthusiast who enjoyed target and trap shooting as well as hunting. He loved 4-wheeling in the mountains and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife and family.

Julia Ella Bell Bland

Julia Ella Bell Bland, 90, of Lincoln, KS died February 18, 2023 at Haysville, KS. She was born November 3, 1932 to Jesse Earl Bell and Lillian Mary (Johnson) Bell in Salina, KS. Left to celebrate her life include daughter Mary Hunt (Donnie), Belle Plaine, KS; sons Samuel Bland (Wendy), Orono, ME; John A. Bland (Marcia), Tigard, OR; Paul Bland (Lendi), Americus, KS; Mark Bland (Melissa), Conway, AR; Charles Bland (Rebecca), Claremore, OK; sixteen grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse Rev. John W. Bland, and brothers Derriel Bell who died in infancy and Gail Bell who died in 1950 at age 22.
