Just think how confusing our world must be to a dog. Some items they see are toys they can chew on and other items , like your shoes, are not items to play with. Food is for eating when it is in a bowl on the floor but not when it is on someone’s plate or on the counter. Dogs do not have human language so how do they learn how not to make us angry without asking direct questions? All animals with brains learn the same way.
