The purrfect storm

As I write this article the outdoor temperature is 87 degrees, however, winter weather cannot be that far away. Soon the leaves will fall and the nights will be crisp and cool. It will be nice to crawl into our warm covers at night and enjoy our warm houses.

Our feline friends are not that different from us. As their environment changes, so does their need for warm shelters, fresh water and food. You will be interested to know, particularly if you are a cat lover, that winter is a very difficult time for them as they are quite vulnerable to low temperatures.
