SLIGHTLY OFF KEY

Provided Mother Nature has finally chosen spring as our current season after months of indecision and confusion on her part, it’s time for softball and baseball. Kids and adults alike seem to love these two sports and if they aren’t on the field, they are in the bleachers cheering on their team.

My late husband loved baseball and softball, in that order. He played baseball from the time he could walk and on into his twenties. Then he played softball for another 10 years. Finally, he coached for about 10 more years before his arm got the better of him. But that’s his story.
