Leopards on a four game win streak

The Lincoln Leopards boys basketball team moved to a four game win streak after last week’s play. On Tuesday the Leopards were able to snag a win over the Chase Kats in a remarkably close game 33-32. The Leopards continued the pace on Friday when they won big against the Pike Valley Panthers 63-40.

While the competition was close against the Chase Kats, the Leopards maintained control throughout the game. During the first half, the Leopards worked the ball inside finally took the lead 20-16 after Zach Obermueller made a three quarter court buzzer shot before halftime. The Kats defense clogged the lane during the third quarter, only allowing the Leopards five points. Intensity remained throughout the fourth quarter, but the Leopards were able to hold off the Kats and win 33-32. Landon O’Hare led the Leopards, recording nine points, followed by Drew Biggs and Sam Huehl with eight points each, Obermueller added six and Tyler Good added two points.
