Osborne Bulldogs run away from the Lady Leopards

The Lincoln girls basketball team traveled to Osborne last Friday for their first game back from winter break. Unfortunately, the Bulldogs were too much for the Leopards and outscored them 34-21, putting the Leopards at 3-4 on the season. The competition started out point for point, but the Lady Bulldogs were able to pull away due to the Leopards multiple unforced turnovers.

The Leopards played a close first half. After some back and forth play the first quarter ended tied at 9-9, but the Bulldogs started to pull away in the second quarter outscoring the Leopards 10-5. The Leopards went into halftime trailing 14-19. The Lady Leopards were unable to get their offense going in the second half and were outscored 10-5 in the third quarter and 5-2 in the fourth.
