Improving to 4-0 on the season, the Jr High football team defeated Osborne 54-6. The Leopards have outscored their opponents by a combined 160-40. They remain nearly unstoppable on offense as they continue to shred teams by air and ground. Jeremiah and Xavier Miller provided multiple scoring opportunities; Gage Meier caught a long touchdown pass; and, Madden Esposito added an interception on defense. The Leopard defense was stifling with sound tackling and strong play on the defensive line. Attendance for the Jr High games remains strong as word of their highly entertaining offense has spread throughout town. The Leopards will play at home against Pike Valley at 6pm on 9/30.
The top-ranked Little River Redskins came to town on Friday night to face off in a battle of undefeated teams. The Redskins entered the game with a record of 3-0 while the Leopards remained at 2-0 having come off a canceled game with Logan-Palco due to COVID-19 protocols.
