Betty L. Jepsen

Betty L. Jepsen, 95, passed away March 30th, 2023. She was born on April 3rd, 1927 to Robert E. and Vera L. (Bloyd) Davis in Lincoln, Kansas. Betty was a lifelong member of Eastern Star. She loved to garden and fill her cookie tins with her famous chocolate chip cookies. She was a master prankster and passed down her humor to her grandchildren. Betty was full of compassion and she welcomed anybody into her home who needed a place to stay. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald T. Jepsen; daughter, Melissa Dawn Jepsen; brothers, Robert “Elmo” Davis and Donald “Johnny” Davis; and grandson, Andrew Jacobs. She is survived by daughters, Melanie (Doug) Jacobs, Mary (Trent) Andersen, and honorary daughter, Debbie (Terry) Whitmer; grandchildren, Chad (Angela) Jacobs, Jason Jacobs, Tamara (Sean) Barrett, Nichole (Tevin) Hansen, Melissa (Marshall) Jacobs, Michelle (Bram) Winterhalter, Devon (Jessica) Andersen, and Sandra Jacobs; 12 great-grandchildren; a loving extended family; and friends. Memorial Service will be held Thursday, April 6th, 2023 at 11:00 am at Old Mission Mortuary Chapel, 3424 E 21st St N, Wichita, KS 67208.
