Corrina May Hillegeist

Corrina May Hillegeist, 52, of Mexico, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home, with her husband by her side on Saturday, February 19, 2022. She was born May 7, 1969, in Rockland, Maine, a daughter of Joel G. and Gloria H. (Crocker) Wentworth. On April 18, 1997, Corrina was united in marriage in Fort Stockton, Texas, to Brian Hillegeist, who survives of the home.

Corrina was a Certified Nurse’s Aide in Kansas and Missouri. She was also a homemaker. Corrina loved writing poetry and helping people. She liked to say that

“she loved her cats 1st and everyone else 2nd ... but God was Always First”

Along with her husband Brian, Corrina is also survived by a son: Calvin DeGreenia (wife Dawn); two daughters: Jennifer James and Jonelle & husband Ben; her parents: Joel G. Wentworth and Gloria H. Crocker-Dunphy; a brother: Joel Wentworth, Jr., and two grandchildren.

There will not be a Public Service at this time. Corrina’s wishes were to have her ashes spread in Old Orchard Beach, Maine.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in memory of Corrina to her husband Brian Hillegeist, to go to various charities that were special to Corrina.
