Guy Steven “Steve” Anderson Apr. 14, 1947 - Nov. 10, 2023

Guy Steven “Steve” Anderson, 76, passed away Friday, November 10, 2023 in Westfall, KS. He was born April 14, 1947 in Salina, KS to Guy Leonard and Madonna Ruth (West) Anderson. Steve was a longtime resident of Lincoln County. He formerly served in the National Guard and was a farmer and former truck driver. He married Vera Mae Lewis O’Bannon in Las Vegas, NV on February 14, 2013.

Steve is survived by his wife Vera Mae O’Bannon of Westfall; daughter Julie Robles; son Shawn Anderson; daughter Jennifer Drake (Darin); 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; step-sons, Wes O’Bannon (Angela) and Richard O’Bannon; sister Sharon Herman (Richard); and brothers, Stanley Anderson and Scott Anderson (Sandy). He was preceded in death by his parents; son Jason Anderson; infant son Guy Joseph Anderson and grandson Joseph Robles.

Steve had a love of farming his entire life. Later on in life, he enjoyed fishing, traveling, shooting pool, tractor pulls, and working on antique tractors that he accumulated.

A graveside memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Beverly Cemetery with lunch and fellowship to follow at the Beverly Township Hall. In case of inclement weather, the service will be held at the Beverly Township Hall.
