PHIL NEWTON 7/26/1942-4/14/2022

Phil Newton, 79, passed away on April 14, 2022, in Lincoln, KS. He was born July 26, 1942, in McPherson, KS to George and Ardith (Drips) Newton. Phil grew up in Linn, KS, where he graduated high school. He joined the Navy after high school where he proudly served our country. Phil later worked for Quartizite Stone, the city of Lincoln, and Ellsworth Correctional Facility. Phil married Miriam Dankenbring in Palmer, KS, on April 4, 1964.

He is survived by his wife, Miriam of the home; daughter, Mona Wolting (Rod); son, Greg Newton (Kendra); daughter, Rhonda Weber (Eddie (Grump)); son, Eric Newton (Deanne); grandchildren, Lance, Devon, Dalton, Megan, Deserae, Odessa, Stephanie, Tim, Ace, and Kerick.
