Steve Hal Lewick, 69, son of Hugh Lewick and Moyne Payne, was born on August 3rd, 1952 in Lincoln, KS and passed away at St. Francis Hospital Wichita, KS from Covid on February 1st, 2022.

He was married to Diane Lewick for 41 years and was blessed with 4 children. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Stephen (Bub) Lewick, his brother Richard Lewick, and his nephew Taren (TJ) Fry.

He is survived by his wife Diane, his son Shannon Wiebke and wife Summer of Natural Dam, AR; Daughter Stephenie Winter and husband Kris of Andale; Shawn Lewick of Andale; six Grandchildren Gage, Bailey, Levi, Brody, Blake, Brett, Sister Linda Simpson, brothers Scott Fry and Larry Fry; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

Steve retired from Dondlinger Construction after more than 25 years of service. He enjoyed camping and boating at Table Rock and Cheney Lake with his family, restoring his 1957 Chevy Truck with Shawn, playing Mr. “Fix it” with Stephenie when she brought her vacuum in to him to fix EVERY week and simply looked at him and said “Help, Daddy.”, but his most beloved pastime was watching his grandsons play football, basketball, and baseball. Anyone who knows Steve would agree, Papa Steve was their biggest fan!
