Joe Ortiz, longtime Lincoln resident and former teacher and coach at Lincoln High School, was inducted into the Kingman, Kansas, Hall of Fame during halftime of the school’s homecoming football game on Sept. 16.Ortiz, a 1954 graduate of KHS, was honored for his athletic achievements during his high school years.
