“New” old guard at city pool
Dalton Cooper, Lincoln, was hired as a lifeguard for the remainder of the season at the July 13 meeting of the Lincoln city council. One lifeguard had to resign due to illness, leaving the pool one guard short for the remainder of the season.
“I couldn’t make the schedule work with one less guard,” said councilmember Lisa Feldkamp. Cooper, who was a lifeguard last year, was contacted to see if he was still interested, and was hired at $7.50 per hour.
