Eckhart appointed to USD 298 BOE
Less than two months after a Lincoln School Board member stepped down, the vacancy he created was filled last week by a local businesswoman.
During the USD 298 Board of Education meeting May 1, school officials appointed Jeana Eckhart to fill the seat relinquished by former board member Chad Walter in March. Walter, who served as the board’s District 2, Position 4, representative, resigned three days before officials hired his wife, Christi Walter, as the new Lincoln Junior-Senior High School principal.
