Hospital trustees discuss budget, needed equipment

Due to inclement weather, the regular meeting of the board of trustees for Lincoln County Hospital, originally scheduled for February 19, was postponed until February 26.

The credentials of two physicians were approved by the medical staff and subsequently by the board. Dr. Paul B. Wardlaw, MD, specializing in family practice, was granted courtesy privileges. Additionally, Jessica Renee MacMahon, APRN, was approved for Allied Health. MacMahon has taken the position once filled by Abbie Dail.

Administrator’s Report

CEO Steve Granzow updated the board on several items: Integration of electronic health records with the state’s database tracking prescriptions is still in progress.
