School bond informational meeting well attended

Melodee Larsen vividly remembers that May afternoon two years ago when a tornado was bearing down on Lincoln. A teacher at Lincoln Elementary School for more than three decades, Larsen was in the school’s locker room trying to comfort her students. The children, she said, were frightened as they huddled in the building’s existing tornado shelter.
