Senior Center serves it up nicely

The Lincoln Senior Center has gone through many changes in the last few months, from facility upgrades to personnel.

In October, the kitchen and dining room got a facelift thanks to the Lincoln County Council on Aging. Volunteers supplied the elbow grease to prep the area by moving furniture and appliances, removing trim and painting the walls. Bradley Roberts, local handy man/ remodeling guru, and owner of Bradley’s Honey-Do, laid new vinyl flooring in both rooms. The project was complete with the installation of some new appliances.

Two major changes in personnel occurred in August when summer head cook Nikki Flinn went back to her position at USD 298 as Business teacher, Athletic Director and Student Council advisor. A few weeks later, Site Manager Becky Rathbun left the organization, moving to The Bank of Tescott’s Lincoln branch.
