USD 298 BOE tours LJSHS remediation work & renovations

The USD 298 Board of Education met at the Lincoln Jr./Sr. High School Monday, June 3 to view the remediation work that is ongoing with the wall between the kitchen and the weight room where the walk-in freezer screed failed and leaked water into the walls.

“Due to the moisture, the west and north exterior walls had to be removed and will be replaced once the screed is replaced,” Superintendent Kathy Robertson said.

As the board reconvened at the Board Office meeting room, Board President T.J. Jonsson announced that the board would like to recognize all the administrators for their hard work and contributions and celebrate with a cake. Board members shared appreciations while the cake was distributed to all in attendance.
