LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Dear Editor And Community;

Due to the current wave of illnesses being seen in Lincoln county school districts we are asking parents and others in the community for their help. If your child is feeling ill, with or without fever, it is recommended that he/she stay out of school until his/her symptoms have resolved. We know it is hard for students to miss school and practices and for parents to miss work. However, without the help of the entire community, these illnesses will continue to cycle through our population.

If your family has illness, please keep all ill persons at home for the duration of the illness unless seeking medical attention. This means DO NOT go to the grocery store or dollar store for a few items or attend work, school or social events. Do your best to isolate the ill person(s) and disinfect your home to decrease the probability of other family members becoming ill. As always, good handwashing and hygiene measures are very beneficial to decrease the spread of illness.
