On Jan. 23, I rode my horse, from my home near Ash Grove, to the Lincoln County Courthouse - about 20 miles away - to address the county commissioners on the current state of the county roads, that have, for many years, been poorly maintained by the county.
After the ice and rain received the previous week, I was not able to use the roads because my Ford Ranger could not navigate the ruts and dangerous conditions of the road.
